Troubleshooting (FAQs)
1. PF1 stops moving but no alarm lights, even when fully charged
Cause:
The filter may be clogged with debris, algae, or sticky materials, reducing thrust.
Solution:
Remove the PF1 from the pool, empty the debris canister, and thoroughly clean the filter.
For heavily soiled pools, deep clean manually first, then use PF1 for regular maintenance.
2. PF1 pauses briefly near pool walls, drains, or obstacles
Cause:
High-precision sensors detect collisions and adjust direction; obstacles may temporarily
10 / 16
catch the robot.
Solution:
If PF1 resumes normal movement after a short pause, this is normal and does not affect
cleaning. No action is needed.
3. PF1 won’t charge or red light flashes during charging
Cause:
Loose charging connection, unstable power supply, or charger malfunction.
Solution:
Disconnect the charger from both PF1 and the outlet, then reconnect the charger to PF1
first, and plug into a stable power source. If the issue persists, contact Pooloob support.
4. Red and white indicator lights flashing
Cause:
Filter is clogged or robot is stuck.
Solution:
Clean the filter and robot chassis, remove any obstacles like branches or debris in the
pool.
5. Red and purple indicator lights flashing
Cause:
Motor abnormal; propeller may be entangled with foreign objects.
Solution:
Check and remove any debris or entanglements from the propeller.
